This series was developed under the flyover in Raj Ghat, a historic ghat of Old Delhi on the banks of the Yamuna river.
“I chose this place because it is close to the river and even though the city is close by and you can see it from here, it is as if the city is looking the other way. While the traffic above is perpetually engaged, life under the bridge is like traveling back in time. There is always a man with camels and an elephant resting in what’s left of their natural environment. The tranquility of the landscape has been pushed to the margin of the city, the holy river has turned to sewage water, but the beauty still exists.”
